Here When Your Pet Needs Us

Not every health concern can wait for a routine appointment. Southgate Veterinary Clinic welcomes urgent patients during our regular business hours, giving you a place to turn when your pet suddenly isn’t feeling well or you’re concerned about a new symptom. Our veterinary team will evaluate your pet, determine what care they need, and help you understand the next steps.

Urgent Care During Our Regular Hours

If your pet is experiencing a sudden illness, injury, or other concerning change during business hours, please give us a call. Whenever possible, we’ll work to accommodate urgent needs and determine whether your pet can be treated at Southgate or would benefit from additional care.

Some situations may require services or monitoring that aren’t available at our clinic. If your pet needs a higher level of emergency or specialty care, we’ll help direct you to an appropriate referral facility.

After-Hours Urgent & Emergency Care

Southgate Veterinary Clinic does not provide after-hours emergency services. If your pet experiences a serious or life-threatening emergency when we’re closed, please contact an emergency veterinary hospital directly. We recommend calling ahead so the facility can prepare for your pet’s arrival.
